A, S and H are common to both words, and 1, 9 and 3 are common to both codes. So C = 7, and the remaining letter E in EAHS takes the remaining digit 6.

The lowermost floor of the building is numbered 1, the floor immediately above it is numbered 2, and so on, till the topmost floor is numbered 7. Only two persons live above C. Only two persons live between C and E. B lives immediately above E. D lives immediately below F. A does not live on the lowermost floor. On which floor number does A live?
