पहला कालीन: चौड़ाई 6 मी, लंबाई 1.44 × 6 = 8.64 मी। नई लंबाई = 8.64 × 1.4 = 12.096 मी, नई चौड़ाई = 6 × 1.25 = 7.5 मी। क्षेत्रफल = 12.096 × 7.5 = 90.72 वर्ग मी। लागत = 90.72 × 45 = 4082.40। अतः उत्तर Rs. 4082.40 है।
First carpet: breadth 6 m, length 1.44 × 6 = 8.64 m. New length = 8.64 × 1.4 = 12.096 m, new breadth = 6 × 1.25 = 7.5 m. Area = 12.096 × 7.5 = 90.72 sq m. Cost = 90.72 × 45 = 4082.40. So the answer is Rs. 4082.40.
