चुंबकीय बल qv × B सदैव वेग के लंबवत होता है, अतः कोई कार्य नहीं करता। इसलिए चाल और गतिज ऊर्जा स्थिर रहती है, जबकि वेग व संवेग की दिशा बदलती रहती है।
The magnetic force qv × B is always perpendicular to velocity, so it does no work. Speed and hence kinetic energy stay constant, while the direction of velocity and momentum keeps changing.

Malaria is caused by the protozoan Plasmodium, spread by female Anopheles mosquitoes. Polio and chickenpox are viral; typhoid is bacterial.

संपर्क विधि में V₂O₅ उत्प्रेरक पर SO₂ को SO₃ में ऑक्सीकृत कर सल्फ्यूरिक अम्ल बनाया जाता है। अमोनिया हेबर विधि से और नाइट्रिक अम्ल ओस्टवाल्ड विधि से बनता है।
In the Contact Process, SO₂ is oxidised to SO₃ over a V₂O₅ catalyst and then converted to sulphuric acid. Ammonia is made by the Haber process and nitric acid by the Ostwald process.
