What happens to the work done if the displacement becomes zero despite a force being applied?

The work done will be zero.

कार्य W = F × s × cos θ। यदि विस्थापन s शून्य हो तो बल कितना भी हो, W = 0, जैसे स्थिर दीवार को धकेलना।

Work W = F × s × cos θ. If displacement s is zero, W = 0 no matter how large the applied force, e.g. pushing a fixed wall.

सवारियों को एक समान वृत्तीय गति में बनाए रखने के लिए उन पर एक नियत आंतरिक (अभिकेंद्र) बल लगाना होगा।

A constant inward (centripetal) force must act on the riders to keep them in uniform circular motion.

किसी वस्तु को एकसमान वृत्तीय गति में रखने के लिए केंद्र की ओर नियत अभिकेंद्र बल mv² ÷ r लगना चाहिए; झूले की सीट या पट्टा यह बल देकर सवारों को सुरक्षित रखते हैं।

To keep a body in uniform circular motion a constant inward (centripetal) force mv² ÷ r must act towards the centre; the ride's seat or restraint provides it, keeping riders safely in place.

एक तकनीशियन को घरेलू परिपथ में एक नया उपकरण इस प्रकार जोड़ना है कि उसे पूर्ण वोल्टेज मिले और वह स्वतंत्र रूप से कार्य कर सके। तकनीशियन को क्या करना चाहिए?

A technician has to connect a new appliance to a domestic circuit in such a way that it receives full voltage and can operate independently. What should the technician do?

घरेलू उपकरण समांतर क्रम में जोड़े जाते हैं, जिससे प्रत्येक को पूरा आपूर्ति वोल्टेज (230 V) मिलता है और उसे स्वतंत्र रूप से चालू-बंद किया जा सकता है। श्रेणी क्रम में वोल्टेज बँट जाता और एक खराबी से सब बंद हो जाते।

Domestic appliances are connected in parallel, so each gets the full supply voltage (230 V) and can be switched on or off independently. In series, voltage would be shared and one fault would stop all.

एक तकनीशियन को घरेलू परिपथ में एक नया उपकरण इस प्रकार जोड़ना है कि वह पूर्ण वोल्टता प्राप्त करे और स्वतंत्र रूप से संचालित हो सके। तकनीशियन को क्या करना चाहिए?
