वीन का विस्थापन नियम बताता है कि कृष्णिका विकिरण की अधिकतम तरंगदैर्ध्य ताप के व्युत्क्रमानुपाती है (λmax × T = नियतांक), जिससे सूर्य और तारों का ताप ज्ञात होता है।
Wien's displacement law states that the peak wavelength of black-body radiation is inversely proportional to temperature (λmax × T = constant), which lets us find the temperature of the Sun and stars.
