A can do a piece of work in 5 days. B can do it in 20 days. With the assistance of C, they completed the work in 2 days. C alone can do it in ______________days.

A + B का 1 दिन का काम = 1/5 + 1/20 = 5/20 = 1/4। A + B + C का 1 दिन का काम = 1/2। अतः C का 1 दिन का काम = 1/2 − 1/4 = 1/4, यानी C अकेला 4 दिन लेगा। अतः उत्तर 4 है।
A + B together do 1/5 + 1/20 = 5/20 = 1/4 of the work per day. A + B + C together do 1/2 per day. So C does 1/2 − 1/4 = 1/4 per day and alone takes 4 days. So the answer is 4.
