एकसमान चुंबकीय क्षेत्र में आवेशित कण का वेग क्षेत्र के लंबवत हो तो वृत्ताकार पथ और क्षेत्र के अनुदिश भी घटक हो तो कुंडलाकार (हेलिकल) पथ बनता है। विकल्पों में हेलिकल पथ सही है।
