Selection stages
CBT 1 — Screening
75 questions, 60 minutes — Maths, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness. Purely qualifying: a fixed multiple is shortlisted for CBT 2, and this score itself does not carry into final merit.CBT 2 — Two parts (A & B)
Part A (Maths, Reasoning, General Science, Current Affairs) score is what shortlists for CBAT and feeds merit; Part B (trade-related) is only qualifying — you must clear it, but its marks aren't added.CBAT — Computer Based Aptitude Test
Tests cognitive and decision-making aptitude specific to the Loco Pilot role; you must clear a minimum aggregate score — practice for it differs from regular MCQ prep and needs its own dedicated sessions.Document Verification & Medical
